Chipo Nhema

Chipo Nhema is the Director of Youth Initiatives at the Black Business Initiative (BBI). A dynamic leader with experience across the non-profit and corporate
sectors, she oversees the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) Program, helping youth overcome barriers to employment through training, supports, and
meaningful placements.
She is pursuing an MBA in Global Leadership at the University of Fredericton and has held leadership roles as Executive Assistant to the CEO at BBI and Team
Manager at TD Insurance. In 2024, she was nominated by the U.S. Consulate to participate in the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership
Program (IVLP), where she met with leaders and organizations across several U.S. cities to examine inclusive economic development in practice.
