Impact X provides students with the opportunity to practice their pitches and get support from Impact X mentors before competing in a pitch competition for $12,000 in prizes.

Renown Entrepreneurs in Social Impact
Hear from renown entrepreneurs making a social impact! This year, Impact X will feature Cameron Sehl, a renowned founder and alumni. In 2024, Impact X featured Tareq Hadhad, the CEO and Founder of Peace by Chocolate and Mallory Yawnghwe, the founder of Indigenous Box Inc – in addition a panel of founders who will share their start-up journeys.

Community Involvement
Community Impact Partner
In 2025, Impact X is partnering with a social impact organization from the local community – the Canadian Association for Community Living – CACL Antigonish. The organization will form an important part of the Impact X experience. In addition to highlighting the important work of social initiatives in the community, the partner organization will figure prominently in the Summit’s social impact workshop, an immersion field experience, and a new marketing challenge.
