Erica Cameron is a third-year student at St. Francis Xavier University, hailing from Newmarket, Ontario. She is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. Erica is passionate about combining her interests in entrepreneurship and the sciences to drive innovation in health and wellness, with a particular focus on enhancing the quality of life for the aging population. Additionally, she is keen to explore the world of female-founded companies through research and case studies.
During her time at StFX, Erica has actively contributed to various initiatives. She co-created pitch events aimed at helping first-year students develop problem-solving, pitching, and presentation skills. She has been heavily involved with the Schwartz Women in Business Society, where she served as Community Relations Director last year and now holds the role of Conference Director for the 2024-2025 academic year. Erica was also involved with the Enactus Society and participated in a Service Learning Immersion trip to Belize in April 2024.
Erica is the proud recipient of the prestigious Schwartz National Scholars Scholarship, valued at $80,000, which was awarded for her academic excellence, leadership, and community service. She also recently earned the Alumni Recognition Award, given to students who demonstrate a combination of high academic achievement and significant contributions to campus life. Erica has consistently maintained a spot on the Dean’s List for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years.
In her free time, Erica enjoys working as a campus tour guide at StFX, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring the beautiful East Coast!
