Dr. Greg Hadley

Dr. Gregory Hadley is an Assistant Professor and Chair of Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy in the Faculty of Education at St. Francis Xavier University. Before assuming his current position, he worked as a secondary school teacher in rural Nova Scotia. His research and teaching interests encompass youth entrepreneurship and business education, creativity in education, educational equity, curriculum design and implementation, and rural education.

Dr. Hadley has published over 20 academic journal articles and book chapters, many of which focus on youth entrepreneurship. He has completed 10 comprehensive professional reports and evaluations for the Nova Scotia Department of Education, covering areas such as inquiry-based learning, career development, and mathematics education. He has presented his research at academic conferences across Canada, the United States, and Europe. His work has been supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.

Dr. Hadley’s scholarship focuses on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in youth by promoting entrepreneurial classrooms. His work intersects curriculum development and pedagogy, and he frequently collaborates with classroom teachers and practicing entrepreneurs. He also manages a YouTube channel dedicated to entrepreneurship pedagogy.

Dr. Hadley lives with his wife, who is also a teacher, and their two children.
