Antigonish Black Youth Mentorship Program

Originally from The Bahamas, Dana Morrison is a 2025 graduate of Saint Francis Xavier University.

 

Dana is passionate about entrepreneurship and community building. At StFX, she served as Co-President of the BLACC Society, Students of African Descent Representative on the Students’ Union Board of Directors, and as a Community Advisor in Residence, while also contributing to JDCC, the Schwartz Business Society, Xaverian Capital, Enactus and more.

 

She honed her entrepreneurial skills at StFX, whether by developing her eco-beauty brand, WE CARE Beauty, or creating social change through the Black Student Guidebook, driven by the Racial Justice Leadership Grant from the McKenna Centre. During her Wallace Internship, Dana built the foundation for the Antigonish Black Youth Mentorship Program, empowering students of African descent in rural communities by fostering connection, guidance, and representation.

 

Dedicated, driven, and community-focused, Dana is starting her career in accounting with Doane Grant Thornton, while pursuing her CPA designation and continuing her mission to uplift marginalized youth.
