Connie McInnes is a seasoned entrepreneur who has been making waves in the fitness and wellness industry since the age of 21. As the founder of Rstudios, a boutique fitness brand based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Connie has dedicated over a decade to building a community-centered business that redefines fitness. Her work has earned Rstudios recognition across various categories, including Best Yoga Studio (Gold in 2023, Silver in 2022, and Silver in 2021) and Best Gym (Silver in 2023, 2022, and 2021) in the Coast Awards.
Connie’s individual achievements are equally impressive. In 2023, she was a finalist for Business Leader of the Year, showcasing her leadership within the business community. She was also honored as the Entrepreneur Organization’s Rookie of the Year in 2022 and in 2019, she was recognized as a top 3 finalist in both the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards and the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program, distinguishing herself as one of Canada’s leading businesswomen.
Beyond the fitness industry, Connie’s entrepreneurial journey has garnered national recognition.
