This year at Impact X 2025, we have added a special new component to the Summit – a community impact partner. Drawing on feedback from the inaugural 2024 event, Impact X has been working with a community partner Canadian Association for Community Living (CACL) – Antigonish who join Impact X and help broaden the Summit’s social impact while providing additional experiential learning for participants. See below for more information on this amazing partner and how Impact X attendees will be engaged in their meaningful work.

Community Impact Partner
CACL – Antigonish
Impact X is proud to be partnering with a social impact organization from the local community, the Canadian Association for Community Living (CACL) – Antigonish, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing residential and vocational programs for adults with intellectual disabilities in their pursuit of quality living and work experiences. Hands-On
Immersion Experience
The CACL will play a key role in the Impact X experience. Beyond showcasing the vital contributions social initiatives make in our communities, CACL will feature prominently in Impact X’s Social Entrepreneurship workshop on Friday afternoon. On Saturday morning, participants will also take part in an immersive field experience at CACL’s St. Ninian Street facilities in Antigonish. We will also introduce a optional new marketing challenge for Impact X attendees to participate in support of the CACL (more below).

Social Media Challenge &
Marketing Pitch Competition
The new marketing Impact X-CACL challenge will unfold in two stages: (1) on Saturday, November 22, all Impact X participants can take part in a social media campaign to promote the CACL; and (2) in February 2026, interested participants can join a virtual marketing challenge. Enactus StFX, a student society focused on social entrepreneurship, will mentor Impact X teams as they prepare their pitches. Enactus, Impact X, and the CACL will co-host a virtual pitch event in February, which will feature prize money for the winning pitch and a donation to the CACL.
